If you are coming in early, please join us for a our own private Planetarium Light Show. We’ll depart the Ridges Resort at 4:30pm and drive over to the Rollins Planetarium at Young Harris College.
This unique show features a state-of-the-art GOTO Chronos Space Simulator star projector with a full-dome digital projection system with comfortable seating for 104 under a 40-foot-diameter dome.
Our Feature Presentation will be “Explore” a beautifully visualized trip through the history of astronomy, This show explores the story of humanity’s fascination with the stars—from ancient stargazers to the breakthrough discoveries of scientists like Johannes Kepler It presents a compelling story of skygazing, scientific discovery, and the wonders of exploration—past, present, and future.
This even is a $6.00 prepay per person.
Afterwards we’ll motor up the road to The Marina Station for our Friday Dinner

Parking: The best place to park will be either in visitor parking, across from the Post Office when you turn in at the traffic light, or behind the Maxwell building, which the planetarium is located in
